With full support from Hang Seng Bank (Hang Seng), the Future Ecopreneur Programme, a joint initiative by Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) and Wofoo Social Enterprises (Wofoo), is committed to nurturing the next generation of leaders in sustainable development and green technology.

The Programme recently organised a successful eco-tour to China, visiting Shanghai and Hangzhou. Participants engaged in experiential learning through community initiatives and real-world case studies, gaining first-hand insight into how innovative sustainability practices improve business outcomes and living environments. connected with leading tech corporates and innovative startups, exchanged ideas, showcased projects, and built meaningful relationships that foster collaboration within China’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The tour featured a visit to Fudan University, where participants attended a masterclass on “Green Technology Innovations in China: Opportunities & Challenges”, exploring cutting-edge research, policy support, market trends, and collaboration pathways. Selected startup teams pitched their ideas to academic experts and received constructive feedback, strengthening their value propositions and readiness to scale within China’s evolving green economy.
