The CONvert for Good Upcycling Campaign achieved great success during its dynamic roadshows across tertiary institutions, engaging university students directly in sustainability and environmental stewardship. Set up on campuses, the interactive roadshow booths served as a hub for eco-education, encouraging students to bring in discarded contact lens cases for recycling while raising awareness about plastic pollution and climate change.

The roadshows provided tertiary students with a hands-on introduction to the circular economy, demonstrating how everyday campus waste can be collected and remanufactured. By connecting environmental responsibility with student life, the campus roadshows successfully motivated the university community to take active steps toward waste reduction and social care.

CONvert for Good Upcycling Campaign aims at raising students’ awareness of plastic waste and its impact on climate change, as well as cultivate their community care by taking actions in (i) recycling contact lens cases, (ii) joining the upcycling workshops, and (iii) distributing the products to underprivileged children.
