Our project, Heung Yau, directly addresses Hong Kong's dual challenge of organic waste management and the unsustainable consumption of traditional aromatics. Each year, vast amounts of local fallen timber and floral waste are sent to landfills. Simultaneously, the city's immense demand for religious and wellness incense often relies on the felling of precious woods like sandalwood and agarwood, contributing to deforestation.

We tackle this by pioneering a local circular economy for wellness products. We have developed a proprietary technique to collect and upcycle locally sourced waste wood and flowers, transforming this organic "waste" into high-quality, natural raw materials. From these, we craft our signature product lines, including premium incense sticks, aromatic sanitizers, and other wellness items.

This innovative model delivers tangible environmental impact. By creating value from local waste, we achieve significant source reduction, diverting materials from landfills and offering a sustainable alternative that protects global forest resources. Our core mission is to introduce a superior, healthier fragrance to the city while championing the concept of "Hong Kong wood for Hong Kong incense." We are not just creating a wellness brand; we are building a scalable, eco-conscious business that redefines a cultural staple and makes a direct contribution to the city's sustainability goals.
