On January 9, 2026, we hosted the inaugural Masterclass of the Future Ecopreneur Programme at InnoCentre, Kowloon Tong. A heartfelt thank you to our distinguished guest host, Dr. Kenneth Leung, Director of the Sustainability/Net-Zero Office at HKUST, for sharing his invaluable insights

Dr. Leung highlighted the urgent global trends of rising temperatures and CO₂ emissions, while also pointing to the declining costs of renewable energy as a major opportunity for entrepreneurs. He emphasized the importance of innovation in areas such as decarbonization of the maritime sector, adoption of carbon-neutral synthetic fuels, and advancing circular economy practices. His reflections inspired participants to think critically about how youth-led ventures can thrive in the green transition.
